ARBEQUINA
Is the best known variety and holds the larger production in Catalonia. It’s a cold resistant variety. With a high fat yield, its oil has a really excellent quality. In addition, the “arbequina” olive has an extra quality for culinary use.

EMPELTRE
The “empeltre” is considered one of the oldest varieties in Spain. In the ripening period, the olive has a jet black colour, and its oil smells fruity and mild, sweet and spreads an almond taste.
The oil is not bitter or spicy. Dressed for culinary use is a highly prized olive.
